"Trauma is a fact of life. It does not, however, have to be a life sentence." ~Peter A. Levine

Hello!

Thank you for the opportunity to be your psychotherapist!  I understand the freedom that comes when you are no longer limited by debilitating anxiety, depression, and trauma!  It is my hope that you will reach this experience as well through our work together.

Why do you do this work?

I've been there; stuck in the cycle that started from my response to trauma. I have not experienced your trauma history, however I do understand.

Therapeutic work made a difference in my own life! It is a privilege to help clients improve their quality of life and their relationships. I'd like to meet you and hear what makes you, you! I accept people for who they are in their current life circumstances. It's important that you do not feel judged during therapy, especially since we are there together to help you move out of that pain kept you stuck. I understand the value it can bring to life to have an environment of warmth, connection, and at times humor while exploring personal growth. It is brave to take steps towards starting therapy, and strength comes from your decision to take ownership of your mental health. It is my hope you will feel comfortable, heard, and connected in our work together.
